Pray the Word
Pray the Word Ministries is an inter-denominational Christ-centered prayer ministry dedicated to teaching, assisting, mobilizing and networking. Pray the Word Ministries is designed to equip you to reach a deeper intimacy in your relationship with our Heavenly Father. We have designed this ministry so that we all can realize the power He has given us, based on God’s word, through prayer. At Pray the Word we believe the Holy Bible contains the words of God that are Holy and given to us from of our Heavenly Father. In fact these Holy words can be used in our personal prayers and meditations to our Heavenly Father as we seek insight and wisdom and strength to a life filled with peace with God. God desires each and everyone of us to have peace and life.
What Are You Searching for in Life?
We all have needs in our lives and try and seek peace and to have a life abundant with joy. In order for these needs to be met we sometimes try and treat the symptoms. We deal the known things that we feel are holding us back in life, when the root problem is something entirely different. The Bible says "Search me, O God, and know my heart. Try me and know my anxious thoughts, and see if there be any hurtful way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way." Psalms 139:23-24.
As Christians We Can Deepen Our Relationship with God.
To experience that deeper relationship we should read our Bible every day to know God better. We can also talk to God in prayer and ask Him anything. The Bible says, "This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us." 1 John 5:14. As we pray we can pray the words that we find in the Bible. The Bible reveals to us God’s promises to we can depend on as Christians and by praying that scripture, the very words and intensions of our Heavenly Father become clear and meaningful to us. "Everything is possible for him who believes." Mark 9:23
So Why Don’t Most People Have This Peace and an Abundant Life?
God’s purpose for our lives is to have peace and life. He has planned for each and every one of us to experience it. The Bible says "We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ" Romans 5:1 and "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever belie3ves in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16.
The problem is our separation from God. The root cause of this seperation in our lives is called sin. The Bible says, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23. Godc reated us in His own image to have an abundant life. But we chose to disobey God and go our own willful ways with the result of separation from God. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23.
